The most commonly used fillers are Hyaluronic acid-based. Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar that is contained in almost every part of our body and because it is a naturally occurring substance within our body, it is safe, effective; therefore the allergy occurrence is minimal. As we age, the body produces less and less Hyaluronic Acid, resulting in wrinkles, folds and a reduction in volume.
The effects of dermal fillers treatments usually last for up to 12 months. Most clients have top-ups when they feel the effect is starting to diminish i.e. any time between 12 months to 15 months.
With repeated treatments the effects often last longer. If you choose not to have the treatment repeated the effects will gradually become less noticeable until your skin looks like it did before the treatment.Lips
